Steeltoe is based on components from NetflixOSS. These components have been vetted in real world, production scenarios, and have proven that they can scale to the needs of one of the world's most demanding microservice architectures.
Steeltoe is built to work especially well with platforms like Pivotal Cloud Foundry. It also integrates seamlessly with Java microservices written with Spring Cloud, allowing for true polygot nirvana.
